William Paul McCoy, Jr.  “Pops” 70 of Hebron formerly of West Virginia passed away Monday June 28, 2010 at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso.  He was born August 24, 1939 to William Paul and Roxie (Jewell) McCoy, Sr.  He was a graduate of Oceana High School in West Virginia and went on to work as a union carpenter Local #272 for over 35 years.  Pops enjoyed traveling, fishing, cars, anything outdoors and the Green Bay Packers. 
In the spring of 1958 in West Virginia he married Margaret Berta who preceded him in death in 1986.  Pops is survived by 3 children:  William Paul (Sherry) McCoy III of Valparaiso, Byron (Mandy) McCoy of Valparaiso, and Timothy Owen (Tammy) McCoy of South Carolina, 7 brothers and sisters:  Jacqueline Reedy of Florida, Gladys Mink of Tennessee, Pam Brooks of Kentucky, Ernest McCoy of South Carolina, Mickey (Sue) McCoy of Tennessee, Dave (Debbie) McCoy of South Carolina and Debbie (John) Dunford of West Virginia, 9 grandchildren:  William Paul McCoy, IV, Sidney Howard, Lucas (Echo) Howard, Maggie McCoy, Timothy Owen McCoy, Jr., Matthew McCoy, Corissa, Grace, Nathan, Brendan and Cody McCoy, 3 great-grandchildren:  William Paul McCoy, V, Levi and Ryder McCoy and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Sherry Fenski and brother Fred McCoy.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 1st at 7:00 PM at Kosanke Funeral Home 105 E. Indiana Ave Kouts, IN 46347 with Rev. Dave McCoy officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
