Mary Ann Maleck, 52, of San Pierre passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at her home, due to a long illness.  She was born on September 11, 1959 in Gary to Henry and Antoinette (Zaleski) Maleck.  Mary Ann was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Kouts.  Mary Ann enjoyed drawing, taking pictures and music.
She is survived by her mother Antoinette, 2 sisters:  Noreen (Ron) Owczarzak and Peggy (Walter) Block, 5 nieces and nephews: Victoria and Quintin Block of San Pierre, Mark (Maria) Owczarzak of Frankfort, IL, Greg (Michelle) Owczarzak of Dyer and Amie (Eric) Harkness of Valparaiso and 8 great nieces and nephews and special cousins: Sharon and Jean.  Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father Henry.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 402 E. Indiana Ave. Kouts, IN, with Reverend Thomas Tibbs officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 AM until 10:45 AM at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 E. Indiana Ave. Kouts, IN.
