Gladys E. Rigg, age 96 of Valparaiso passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Golden Living Center of Valparaiso.  She was born on March 20, 1914 in Boone Township, IN to Glen and Florence (Shoup) Aylesworth.  Gladys was a member of the Boone Groove Christian Church.
On May 1, 1935 in Valparaiso, Gladys married Newell Rigg who preceded her in death in 1979.  She is survived by 2 children, Verneice (Don) Buchanan of Hebron and Roger (Kay) Rigg of Valparaiso; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Berneice Aylesworth of Valparaiso.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Rigg; and sister, Dorothy Zywanoski.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 11^th at 12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.  Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boone Grove Christian Church 356 W. Groveland St, Boone Grove, IN  46302.
