Rose V. (nee Pavlik) Sendera, age 78
of Valparaiso and formerly of Chicago Heights, IL passed away, Saturday, January
14, 2012 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso.
She was born on April 18, 1933 in Chicago Heights, IL the daughter of
John and Victoria (Krencichvost) Pavlik.
Rose had worked in the housekeeping department at Olympia Fields
Osteopathic Hospital. She enjoyed
gardening, birds, and loved her family.
On July 19, 1952
in Chicago Heights, IL, Rose married Mitchel B. Sendera who preceded her in
death in 1980. She is survived by 3
children, Deborah A. (Max) Tanis-Dywan of Valparaiso, Cheryl V. Uzubell of
Syacuse, and Paul J. (Angelita) Pascarella of Crown Point; sister, Celia (Carl)
Baur of Chicago Heights, IL; 7 grandchildren, Andrew (Lisa), J. Mitchell,
Philip, Katie (Pedro), Vanessa, Ashley, and Sarah; 2 great grandsons, Luis and
Carter; and former son-in-law, John E. Uzubell.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20th at 7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso with Fr. Joseph Pawlowski officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Following services cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso.
