Helen V. Suski, 84, of Chicago, IL formerly of Blue Island, IL, passed away Monday July 19, 2010 at Whispering Pines Health Care Center in Valparaiso, IN.  She was born in Blue Island, IL to Frank and Victoria (Smyzik) Suzen.  Helen enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, and taking care of her family. 
She was married to John Suski who preceded her in death in 1990.  Helen is survived by 5 children:  Victor Suskin of Monee, IL, Rebecca Gratunik of Hammond, IN, Paulette (Dave) Johnson of Chicago, IL, John (Denise) Suski of Chicago, IL and Marilee (Bruce) Allen of Valparaiso, IN, 5 grandchildren:  John H., Michelle, John T., Kelly, Bruce, Samantha, and Jeremy and 1 great-grandchild Bryce.  Cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory.
