Timothy J. Watkins, MD, 60, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Birmingham, MI, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010.  He was born May 10, 1950 in Detroit to Donald P. and Mary Rose (Henry) Watkins.  Dr. Watkins graduated from Wayne State University and received his Medical Doctor Degree from the University of Michigan.   He practiced in Rochester Hills for many years.  Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Catherine (Gannon) Watkins; two children, Kevin (Motoko Maki) Watkins and Elyse Watkins; his mother, Mary Rose Watkins; one brother, Donald Watkins; three sisters, Michele Armstrong, Katherine Skover, and Christine Maccari; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Jerome; and two sisters, Maureen and Denise.
