Richard S. Brown, age 80 of Valparaiso passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Porter Hospital Valparaiso Campus.  He was born on February 6, 1930 in Hammond to Shirl and Mabel (Graham) Brown.  Richard was an electrician and a member of the IBEW Local 531.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Florence L. Brown; 4 children, Mark Brown, Mike Brown, Wendy Scales, and Elizabeth Brown; 5 grandchildren, Adam Brown, Kristin Vander Pyl, Kavin Brown, Jonathan Scales, and Michael Scales; 2 great grandchildren, Enola and Nevin Brown; and sister, Carol Morris.
Visitation will be Monday, July 12^th from 10:00-11:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso.  A graveside service will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
