Thomas D. Gillespie, 73, of Valparaiso, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011.  He was born March 8, 1938 at Fort Benning, GA to Oliver D. and Lucie L. (Livaudais) Gillespie.  Tom served in the U.S. Air Force, was an Insurance Risk Manager and a member of St. Teresa of Avila where he assisted with Café Manna.
On August 27, 1960 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne, WY he married Judith Anne Kersnick, who survives, along with three children: Stewart (Lisa) Gillespie of West Park, FL, Sara (David) Bozzini of Bryn Mawr, PA and Stephen (Beth) Gillespie of Valparaiso; three grandchildren: Alexandra, Lydia and Lauren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Cherie.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila, 1511 LaPorte Ave., Valparaiso, with the Rev. Kevin P. McCarthy officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Café Manna.
