Agnes Mae Hill, 90 of Valparaiso passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Porter Hospital Valparaiso Campus.  She was born on February 9, 1920 in Gary, IN the daughter of Joseph and Cornelia (Groff) Gilbert.  Agnes worked for over 25 years in the Billing Department at Porter Hospital.  She was married for 25 years to William Thomas Carr who preceded her in death in 1969.  Agnes is survived by her two sons, William (Arlene) Carr and Richard (Jerry) Carr, both of Valparaiso; 3 grandsons, William T. (Linda) Carr, William C. Carr, and Ryan Carr; and 3 great grandchildren, Dylan, Cody, and Cy.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, William F. Gilbert.
Funeral service will be held Friday, July 9^th at 10:30 AM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso with burial to follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the US Wounded Soldiers Foundation 11700 Preston Road, Suite 660-135 Dallas, TX 75230 or www.uswoundedsoldiers.com.
